Author Bio

Harry F. Smith grew up in the frozen wilderness of Northern New Jersey and proudly claims to be a native, but only when it is to his finanical advantage to do so. After a brief career in the Navy as a technician, he worked as a software engineer on numerous defense industry projects. Although he is the author of many boring technical documents and manuals, such as "A Study of Constrained Nonlinear Optimization Methods", this is his first attempt at a mystery novel concentrating on living, breathing people.
He now lives in Centerville, South Dakota year-round so that he can enjoy the snow, ice and freezing cold weather. His interests include listening to esoteric music, perfecting his vast barbecuing skills and devising new ways to scare small children. Lately, he has been working on a second novel about life in Florida during hurricane season while simulataneously fighting killer rabbits who are intent on eating his lush green lawn.
